The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (Department) is issuing this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) to solicit qualified vendors who can provide DNA Laboratory Services on an as-needed basis. The purpose of the RFSQ is to seek qualified companies to enter into Master Agreements with DMH to provide Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Community Services and Supports (CSS) Plan services that include, but are not limited to, services designed to increase significantly the level of participation and involvement of clients and their family members in all aspects of the community mental health system and programs; changes in access and increased geographic proximity of services and programs; age-specific strategies for children and youth, transitional age youth (TAY), adults, and older adults; increase in community partnerships; expansion of culturally competent services and programs; and expanded outcome monitoring and achievement of MHSA accountability goals.
